I met Sarah a couple of years ago when I was chosen to photograph a senior for Beauty Revived 50 Beautiful Seniors Magazine.  Can I just say, right here, that Sarah is, hands down, one of the brightest spots in this world that we live in.  She is kind, sweet and smart.  She treats everyone she meets like a best friend. Her testimony runs deep and she shares it often.  One of the most amazing things about Sarah is how she faces challenges and adversity.  Always head on and with an optimistic vision of where she can go and what she can do.  Sarah, you see, has Cerebral Palsy. Most would look at Cerebral Palsy as a disablity, but Sarah considers herself lucky because she has full use of her hands and legs.  And boy, does she take advantage of that blessing.  I remember watching her in the musical "Mary Poppins" at her high school and was so amazed as hundreds of kids fairly flew up and down the stairs of the auditorium, turned circles on the stairs and ran again.  All the time, Sarah kept up, difficult as it was, with the biggest smile you would every see.  I sat and watched her and wept, my heart so full of love for this young woman who absolutely LOVES life and follows her dreams, even when it's hard.  She told me how her legs ached at the end of each night but that she was having the time of her life.  Sarah loves to write.  She is a published author, writing the book, "The Rose Garden" and she was the editor of her high school newspaper.  Sarah has spent the last year at Brigham Young University (another feat, if you know how big that campus is with legs that get so tired) and now she is heading off to serve our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ.  Sarah has the most incredible opportunity to serve as a missionary, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center in beautiful San Diego.  Oh, my goodness, I love Sarah!  She has made an impact on my heart that will last forever.  She has drawn me in with her incredible smile and happy countenance and I am forever changed!
