We could start out this story with "Once upon a time, there were two people who fell in love, and those two people wanted to have a baby so badly that they would go to the ends of the earth to make their little family of two, three".  Last fall, I had the opportunity to begin photographing Ty and Brittony's amazing journey to become parents.  Have you ever heard of IVF? It stands for In Vitro Fertilization and it is a miracle that has helped countless couples become parents.  Is it easy? NEVER!  Was it a sacrifice on the part of these two people? The answer is a resounding YES!  Was it worth it?  Well, if you ask them, they would shout at the top of their lungs,  ABSOLUTELY!!!  We started out, last fall, taking photos so they could document their journey through IVF.  Antelope Island was a perfect backdrop as they cuddled and danced and laughed. And their dogs! We just had to have them in the photos as well.  Such a fun evening and I was keeping my fingers crossed as they moved forward with their plan.  I watched posts on social media. I watched as she endured injections and as they worked so hard to do everything that was required for IVF to work.  And then, one day I got a message from Brittony asking if I could do a photo session for Valentine's Day. She told me that they were expecting and wanted to use the photos for their announcement to family and friends.  I have to admit that it made me break down and bawl like a baby.  HAPPY DAY!!!  Well, as most of you know, winter in Utah can be a bit messy, so we decided it would be best to rent out some studio space for the pictures.  Bring on White Space Studio in Bountiful.  It was a perfect place to capture a Valentine shoot.  We filled that space with red and pink balloons, they brought pictures of their sweet little one and I clicked away.  I am so happy for these two.  They will, honestly, make the best mommy and daddy to their little sweetheart.  Stay tuned for more pics as we anxiously await this baby's entrance into the world.  In the meantime, enjoy!
